In 1961, two experienced shirt makers, John La Resca and George Zimmerman, decided to launch a small custom shirt manufacturing business in Paterson, New Jersey. They had a vision that great American specialty retailers needed a shirt maker to help them build an in store custom business. From that vision, they created Individualized Shirts.

Fifty years later, Individualized Shirts celebrates its golden anniversary as America’s largest and most successful custom shirt maker.
